Yablonsky Music Institute in Florence Italy

Yablonsky Music Institute Master Course and Festival to be held from September 9 to 16, 2024, in Sesto Fiorentino, Florence.
The program includes Piano, Cello, Violin Master Courses, Conducting, Piano Ensemble, Chamber Music and Piano Technology Clinic.
Course participation includes lodging with breakfast and lunch in Sesto during musical activity, three individual lessons visiting all Master classes and performance opportunities during the Festival.
It's possible combine two fields of participation.
Italian students who don't need lodging get a special discount on participating in the course

MA in Classical String Performance: study places, scholarships.

The MA programme in Classical String Performance at the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance, University of Limerick is led by Principal players of the Irish Chamber Orchestra (ICO). Students receive individual tuition, chamber coaching, orchestral training & mentorship, and perform in chamber ensembles with ICO Principals.
Study places, especially for cello, and other string instruments are still available. Scholarships are on offer in order of application.
This two-year full-time programme's unique focus is on developing embodied, integrated musicians, equipped to thrive in the modern professional environment. Students receive weekly 90-minute individual lessons, Chamber Music, technique- and performance skills classes, & intensive classes e.g. in Dalcroze, Baroque, New Music, Improvisation, Body Mapping, and automatically qualify for ICO Academy projects.

8th year of the Professione Orchestra, the programme designed to train young musicians to work as professional members of an orchestra, developed through a partnership between the Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale of the RAI national broadcasting network, and the Fondazione Accademia di Musica, a school for advanced music teaching.
- 4 individual instrument lessons
- rehearsal with the instrument section
- seminary Alexander’s Technique and Anxiety
- meeting with Professors of Rai Orchestra
- a final assessment test which will be the simulation of an audition for a place in an orchestra.
- Concerts.
- Scholarships awarded on merit for deserving students.

Instruments: violin, cello, flute, piccolo, oboe, english horn, clarinet, bass clarinet, bassoon, horn, trumpet, trombone, tuba, timpani, percussion, harp
The workshops are taught by the section leaders of the Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale RAI.
