From Sunday Sept 29 to Saturday, October, 2024 advanced students will be able to work intensively with internationally renowned tutors and hone their musical ans technical skills.
All lessons are open to the public. Concerts featuring the participants, net-working opportunities and the exchange of ideas among kindred spirits will all contribute to making the muri masterclasses a unique experience.

25th International Festival “Duchi d'Acquaviva”

In the beautiful city of Atri (Te) in the center of Italy, a few kilometers from the Adriatic Sea, from 7th to 28th August 2024 will be held the 25th International Festival "Duchi d'Acquaviva" with Master Class taught by teachers of international level and Concerts of students, teachers and orchestra in the most suggestive places of the city and the Abruzzo coast.

Young Musicians' Summer Academy 2024

It is the 23rd time University of Debrecen Faculty of Music has organized the Young Musicians’ Summer Academy for high school students, university students and young music teachers. Besides individual mastercourses, orchestral and chamber music workshops contribute to the participiants’ artistic development. The location of the event is the campus of Debrecen University, which is situated in Nagyerdő (Great Forest), a touristic sight of Debrecen. At the end of the Academy we provide certificates of the courses completed and credits obtained.
Besides a number of individual mastercourses the talented young musicians take part in an orchestral mastercourse with the leadership of Tamás Vásáry pianist and conductor, honorary citizen of Debrecen, awarded Kossuth Prize.

XVII International Music Festival Vitoria-Gasteiz

A week of music, food and fun in Vitoria (Basque Country) in the North of Spain not to be miss, with some of the most exciting teachers and performers at the moment. The course will begin on 16 August and will end on the 22 August with the students’ concert during the 21 and 22 August. The aim of the Course is to give the opportunity to students of music to widen and improve their practical and theoretical skills through participating in a specific, intensive programme of work consisting of classes for individuals and for groups. The course is intended for students from the last intermediate level course, for those from any course of the higher level, post graduate students and music school students. All students will receive from their professors a minimum of four lessons (individual and/or group lessons) lasting 40–60 minutes each and all students are eligible to be part of chamber music groups, under the direction of one of the professors of the course.

HAYDN – SALIERI – MOZART – BEETHOVEN.
The festival offers workshops for Solo concerto, Opera and Conducting.
We offer young soloists the opportunity to work with conductors and orchestra, and special seminars like “How to work with conductors” and “How to cooperate with different conductors and orchestras”.
As we know, many talented young soloists, after the success of winning a competition, before their career even starts have got troubles to play concerto with an orchestra. That is why we prepare your skills for your future professional work on the concert podium.
If you are selected for the finale round you will play with orchestra on stage. This might be a milestone for your future.

European Youth Music Week

We strive to develop international friendship through high-quality music-making.
European Youth Music Week is an annual summer course for advanced young instrumentalists aged 18 to 28, offering the chance to play great symphonic and chamber repertoire, whilst meeting like-minded people from across the globe.
Working with top orchestral conductors, students have the unique opportunity to be inspired and develop their instrumental and ensemble skills through experiencing challenging repertoire they would not normally encounter.
A unique feature of EYMW is that seating arrangements are not fixed. A violinist is just as likely to find themselves leading a section as sitting on the back desk; or a flautist playing a challenging solo or doubling second flute. This provides an equal opportunity for everyone to develop their orchestral playing.

Yablonsky Music Institute in Florence Italy

Yablonsky Music Institute Master Course and Festival to be held from September 9 to 16, 2024, in Sesto Fiorentino, Florence.
The program includes Piano, Cello, Violin Master Courses, Conducting, Piano Ensemble, Chamber Music and Piano Technology Clinic.
Course participation includes lodging with breakfast and lunch in Sesto during musical activity, three individual lessons visiting all Master classes and performance opportunities during the Festival.

MA in Classical String Performance: study places, scholarships.

The MA programme in Classical String Performance at the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance, University of Limerick is led by Principal players of the Irish Chamber Orchestra (ICO). Students receive individual tuition, chamber coaching, orchestral training & mentorship, and perform in chamber ensembles with ICO Principals.
Study places, especially for cello, and other string instruments are still available. Scholarships are on offer in order of application.
This two-year full-time programme's unique focus is on developing embodied, integrated musicians, equipped to thrive in the modern professional environment. Students receive weekly 90-minute individual lessons, Chamber Music, technique- and performance skills classes, & intensive classes e.g. in Dalcroze, Baroque, New Music, Improvisation, Body Mapping, and automatically qualify for ICO Academy projects.

8th year of the Professione Orchestra, the programme designed to train young musicians to work as professional members of an orchestra, developed through a partnership between the Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale of the RAI national broadcasting network, and the Fondazione Accademia di Musica, a school for advanced music teaching.
- 4 individual instrument lessons
- rehearsal with the instrument section
- seminary Alexander’s Technique and Anxiety
- meeting with Professors of Rai Orchestra
- a final assessment test which will be the simulation of an audition for a place in an orchestra.
- Concerts.
